Talk About Books
Join librarian Leah Gessner every third Wednesday of the month in person at the Guilford Free Library or via Zoom at 6:30pm. All are welcome to request a copy of the current book by emailing or calling the library. Here’s what we’re reading this month.
Winter Activity

Guilford Winter Pen Pals
Combat isolation and cabin fever during the long winter months! Build community connections by exchanging letters, “pen pal” style. You will be given the contact info of a correspondence partner.

Halloween in Guilford Center
Witches, monsters, fairy tale creatures, animals and other ghost and ghouls are invited to Trick or Treat the six homes and library in Guilford Center Village every October 31, from 5:00-6:00pm. At 6:00pm Laura Lawson and Bob Tucker lead a parade from the library to the Playscape to enjoy spooky songs, stories, and fingerplays by the fire bowl. Geared for the younger set (babies, toddlers, preschoolers and grades 1-3).

Summer Camps
Each camp begins and ends at the library. Breakfast and healthy snack are provided. There is no charge for any Guilford child, but a minimal charge will be made for a child who lives out of town. Cribbage
An afternoon of pegging entertainment with cribbage boards and cards. Open to all levels of experience. Seniors and veterans, especially submariners, are encouraged to attend.
